Drawitbetter Contest #15: Mega Charizard

This is my entry for the #drawitbetter contest that is being held by @sirsensei, and the theme is all about pokemon

My entry for today is Mega Charizard, im not totally a fan of pokemon but i do watch some of it when i was a kid, Mega Charizard really reminds me of Toothless from "How to train your dragon" because of his black colored skin and blue flame, so heres the drawing process of it.

I sketch out first its head and neck and its hands and claws, the flame on its mouth and the horns on its shoulders (sorry if the background is too dark because of the camera flash).

And draw its belly and right leg and its other hand also.

And drew out its wing, and draw its left leg and its tail.

Then i put detailed on its face and drew its other wing also(this time i turned off the camera flash).

And i drew out the fire on its tail (my lighting is too dim, sorry).

And heres the finish piece of black and white drawing(its still dim 😂)

So after sleeping for about 8 hours i continue on the coloring.

So in here i put a color blue on its wing (i forgot to turn of the camera flash 😑).

Then at here,as you can see i used 3 types of gray, light gray, medium gray, and dark gray, and colored its horn with skyblue.

And color out his back with light gray and dark gray.

And colored its belly with skyblue and a gray in in the lower part and colored its left leg with dark gray.

Same with the right leg and colored the bottom part of the tail with blue.

And colored its tail with gray and dark gray.
And colored its fire on its tail with skyblue, and shade a dark gray on its wing. And erase a the tip of the wing.

So here's the finish piece of the coloring, so i get out of my room and took a pic in the living room where the light is bright.
