Digital Painting Project: The Samurai
Hey people,
i want to share my last digital paint process, which is made with a digital tablet for painting.
Inspiried by a martial arts movie, i created this samurai. This project was also a little training.
This samurai wears a haori (jacket), hakama (pants) and getas (footwear).
- I started with a rough concept of the character:
- Putting some little colors to define it and worked on the shoes (Getas)
The Haori (jacket) and his face has now more details, after a few time for drawing.
Adding a Background color to test his presence. Working on his face to give him a character.
His look is still not what i want, so i worked a little more to give him more expression.
The Kimono, his face and his hair is now sharpener and more elaborated.
Background changed, more details on his getas and added some more shadows.
