Daily sketch 17 - Scarecrow

I've decided to redo the scarecrow (a bit more seriously this time).

I've used four very old colored pencils (they were so ruined - kept snapping over and over and over again - but they are all sharp now and in working condition) :)
I used extra black and yellow for some small highlight passes (eyes and shadow under the hat).

Here is a zoom in. I decided to go with light pencil outline then black pen to form the silhouette . After that I've added color in layers starting from the lightest to darkest. Yellow was added after the image was completed.

I am happy with the result :)
