这是一座需要很长时间才能完成的神庙。建筑始于公元前6世纪，一直持续到公元后世纪Emporer Hadrian时代，该神庙被献给以宙斯为首的奥林匹亚众神，这就是殿的名字的来源。

它有104列大柱，是古希腊最大的神庙。现在只有15列仍然站立。

My Sketch: The Temple of Olympian Zeus, Athens

This is one temple that took a long time to complete. Construction started in 6th century BC and lasted until Emporer Hadrian, the temple was dedicated to the Olympian gods, which is headed by Zeus, and that is where the name of the temple comes from.

It had 104 columns and was the largest temple of ancient Greece. Now only 15 columns are still standing.
The 16th column collapsed in the 1850s during a storm and lay on the ground since. It is a moving scene to see how the mighty has fallen.
