I remember doing a lot of wing/feather studies recently. Still an ongoing process but not nearly as hardcore as it was now that I know roughly what wing shape I should probably stick to when tacking wings onto a human ;D

Only one bat? :) I suppose they don't have quite as much variation in wing shape as birds XD

Yeah in the previous post I compared the wings to hands in a less accurate but easier to understand way. The wing bones actually work like: the palm is longest part, then wrist to elbow and lastly, elbow to shoulder is actually very small for birds and it never has wings connected to that bone! But sometimes chest feathers cover the bone making it hard to notice :D
I'm just practicing explaining xD It will be tricky making a post haha

Don't worry there is an upcoming whole page of just bats xD It's still just pencil sketches tho ^^
