Ink Water (original art)
I still smile and be bold.
Even if the water is cold.
The levels are getting higher.
From my thighs to my shoulder.
The water seemed to turn black to me.
But I see light shining above the sea.
I turned my back and you were there.
With me on my adventure to heir.
What the sea had hide
The physics that it defied
Whats underground the black ink.
As I went and find.
On my mind I say "this is fine".
This is me trying out painting on an iPad again a.k.a borrowing it.
Well I mean I have used the iPad but not in a while, theres actually procreate over there.. But I'm using ibispaint cuz its familiar and the iPencil is damn expensive as fuck like wh yyy, I guess its atleast pretty good with pen pressure.
And plus theres more iPad drawings I have but this one is the more recent one.
I have no story about this really just a random girl on some where dark. Well at first I thought she'd be bathing on some waterfall but I realised that I don't know how to stage the scene. (I don't have the drawing but trust me I tried my best.)
Then I built it up along the way as I make up the drawing.. Anyways its a bit stiff cuz I dont know how to iPad that much like I am with my phone (which is ironic since now I am used to drawing with my finger on my small screen of a phone)
My achievment is that to make it naturey and nice to look at.
P-pROGRESS.
1.) Boarding and staging.
After all the sketching and staging up on how the image will be I settle maybe just a black background because it looks nice and calm and contrasting the white and yellow of it.
By the way that bird was kinda inspired by @scrawly's art where theres a man just having a bird but unfortunately the lil bird didnt make it.
I also have thought about the lighting goes with the giant streak of light.
- Creating an another layer to make an overpaint to detail the things. And you can see the bird is gone there :( rip bird please pray to him.
I also shade in multiply too. Just to make it blending to the water and to look.. AE ST HE TIC.
- Removing the flowers and lineart.. Im just like.. Nah, using the iPencil I could like make strands kinda more noticable but in iPad its just a lil zoom to make it noticed.
And also shading everything
- Now its just finishes and touches. Not really proud of the hair. But at the same time I don't want to restart again XD I feel satisfied and I don't care now that I look at it more.
- Then when it comes to all.. Lighting and that butterfly.
NOT SO FUN FACT:
Before I drew the butterfly, I was at school and saw a dead butterflies wings. So what a great way to refference. Thanks dead butterfly.. ;-;
Annnddd FINISHED
JUST a bit of blending layers would oughtta do the trick. And it has been a beautiful beautiful thing.
And now it just needed a lot more... Enthusiasm maybe. Idek idk about the hair either.
Also the video that I'm making
We're hitting the 2 minute mark! Just.. 8 more minutes?!? XD
I don't know I hope I could finish it by the end of this month heres some screenshots of it..

It's only the hair that looks a little bit stiff, it's still a nice drawing :)
Videos and animation are things that take forever :)
