Original Pencil Drawing of a Little Girl and Her Dogs

in #drawing7 years ago (edited)

Here is an original 11" x 14" pencil on paper drawing I did of a little girl with her two dogs...on a pier. This was a commission that was given as a gift at Christmastime.

I truly enjoy being part of the process of bringing joy to another, and I thank God that I can do this now for a living!

All the best,

Nice! Mom said the girl in this pic is what she saw when she read the story I just wrote. Now I see it too. Visualizing! :)

Sweet. I will need to read your story now. Curiosity piqued! No "guilt" comments or votes, though. Just nepotism and quality work. ; )

No guilt! Gratefulness all around!

Very good you pencil drawing matt, a beautiful little giro👍👍

Very nice drawing! I love the expression on the little girl's face.

Yes, that is my favorite part of it too. I like how the lighting turned out on her face. It did take the second time around for the client to approve it though. But that's OK, because it made the drawing better.

Pencil works of this nature makes me feel a certain way. I love your execution. I hope I get to this level soon.

Thank you. May you reach this level and more! Be blessed in your art.

Well done, sir. I think content that reminds us not to become lost in the technicality of this platform is important. All talents have value, and yours seems to be quite well developed. Following. :)

Thanks for the comment and the follow. I am following you as well.

its actually very good.
Respect to your skill ;)

Thanks! God gave me the skill. I'm blessed that I can do this for a living. :)

I like! excellent drawing. How much did you have to learn or practice to get to that level?

The great thing about this Steemit community is that it encourages us to work doing what we really like to do while receiving a reward in return.

I learned how to draw mostly as a child. We didn't have a lot of toys, so I drew instead. When I was age 14, it clicked for me, and I could replicate the look of a photograph pretty easily. But I probably put in 1,000 hours prior to that.

Thanks, Kingsley.
