Fourth portrait with ink. Weekly drawing challenge

in #drawing7 years ago (edited)

So i tried to do something completely different with the ink and a strange spontaneous two-faced ink-lion jumped out! Again with walnut ink. Third portrait with ink from my weekly drawing challenge - portraits with ink.
I am not usually doing so many spontaneous drawings without reference (usually i just draw what i see around me), but its fun, i should do it more.
The only thing is that i dont usually likes what comes out, the imperfections when i dont have a reference.. but i think the soul probably easier comes out that way..

This is part of my weekly drawing challenges. Every week i pick a medium and a topic. Every second week i do daily drawings and every other i work on one big piece. You are more than welcome to join in! This is just a challenge, so no prizes or winners, but i will upvote and resteem your post if you do! And feed me with more topics! The themes are decided by you guys! It can be anything - an animal, a feeling, a style, a concept, you name it!

love this one. def has a soulful joyful sweet quality to her <3

I really like ink drawings. I too think that my drawings are very prone to imperfections if i dont have a reference image to follow. I have yet to gather the confidence to draw from my imagination but you certainly have that. I love your art here!
