~ Set Yourself On Fire ~

My second attempt at Beetle on Mercury. I am quite proud of this one. I am really happy with the dot work and the composition, my lines were a bit cleaner, too. The Mercury symbol was more buried in this one, but it was worth making the beetle more beetle like. ⠀

The balancing of internal forces is symbolised by the Star of David sitting inside the ankh, radiating out waves of light (source energy). The horizontal bars on the wings imitate a pharoh's headdress (sovereignty). I put the black semi-circles on the wings to imitate the eyes of a bird (vision) and three eyes on the beetle to reference our third eye (connection to divinity). Mercury of course, being the messenger of the Gods.⠀
