Doan Mon is a dome door that leads into Kinh Thien. Doan Mon includes five gates built of stone. In 2002, Vietnamese archaeologists were allowed to dig inside Doan Mon to find the "old horse carriage" of the Tran dynasty. If unearthed, it will be possible to see the whole road from Doan Mon to Kinh Thien in the north and south west in Hanoi.
