Even if we are responsible for climate change, global warming/cooling, and I don't believe we are, there's very little we can do about it, even if somehow we could all of as sudden convert all of our fossil fuel based operations to some form of clean energy.
I believe that natural factors, including the suns own activity, and how the Earth reacts to it, has far more to do with any rapid heating or cooling than anything we've done. Does that mean man isn't responsible for pollution or other harmful activities? No. We do damage to a lot of things. But this kind of heating and cooling was happening way before man became industrialized, and it will continue to happen regardless of what we do.

These questions are loaded and miss the whole point. I have a post coming (for too long now I have been working) but it is so hard to talk about REAL issues when everyone wants to talk about CARBON (IE THE BACKBONE OF ALL LIFE!)
YES humans are doing a shitty job at caring for the Earth but not in ANY OF THE WAYS most people want to talk about and most proposed solutions LIKE INFINITE BATTERIES will only make is WORSE!!!!
The discussion has been so twisted it is hard to jump in with patience and logic. We must do better. A few degrees of warming will have pros and cons but it won't be the end of anything. It is precisely besides the WHOLE POINT.
CARE for the EARTH!
LOVE each other!
SHARE everything! (knowledge, freedom, surplus, enlightenment, wisdom, understanding, bananas, etc)
