We’ve had some positive price action on STEEM this week for the first time in a long time. As I write this, STEEM is over 17 cents.
How are you feeling about our current situation? Are you an optimist or a pessimist these days?
- I am optimistic. Any rise is great, and I’ll take it.
- I am cautiously optimistic but need to see more.

The price doesn't matter as much as everyone thinks it does.

Short term price movements does not really affect my feelings about Steem.
I am on the Steem blockchain for the long term (years).
I am on the Steem blockchain since 2017.05.17.
Most of the people easily get affected by the short term price movements.
Many people stop(ped) posting, when the price move(d) down.
And you can see some rise in the user activity level, even when the price of Steem is move up only a few cents. People suddenly become "optimistic" about Steem.
