Predictions For 'The International 7 Dota 2 Championships'
Hey guys!
Today I want to talk a little bit about the upcoming Dota 2 championships. I think it would be cool if we could share some predicitons. Some of you might also own a battlepass, so it is likely you already made a couple of predicitons in your compendium. Below I will share with you my predicitons. Maybe they are completely wrong, maybe I nail everyone of them :)
Without further ado, let's get to it!
1. Most picked hero
Sand King - he is picked in nearly every professional game, so I believe this one might be a safe bet.
2. Most banned hero
Night Stalker - he is just a really strong hero in this meta and you can't really counter pick or play around him. His mere presence may disrupt a couple of strategies so I think teams will get rid of him all together.
3. Hero with highest winrate
Keeper of the Light - this one is a little bit of a joke bet by myself. I just hate playing against a good KotL player. The vision he gives by day is really good and he can defend highground almost solo.
4. Hero with highest kill average
Invoker - Professional players who play Invoker are insanely good. Simple as that. They will hit nearly every sunstrike and get incredibly strong in the lategame. This will in my opinion result in the highest kill average.
5. Hero with highest assist average
Zeus - see his Ult
6. Hero with lowest death average
Anti Mage - he is just a very slippery hero to deal with, hence making him very hard to kill.
7. Hero with highest last hit average
Medusa - you can't really outfarm Medusa if everything goes as planned for her
8. Hero with highest xpm average
Meepo - 5 heroes level faster than one. Hence Meepo is a no brainer
9. Hero with most kills in a game
Invoker - again I think if we see a game where an Invoker goes completely nuts it would be no surprise if he has the most kills at the end of the tournament.
10. Hero with most last hits in a game
Naga Siren - just wanted to mix it up a bit. My other pick would've been Medusa or Meepo
11. Which team will win
EG - A very good team all around. If they don't choke they are a very safe bet to be at least top 4.
12. Team with most kills in a game
Team Liquid - Would've been my other tip for winning TI7, hence I give them the respect of getting the most kills in a game.
13. Team with highest kill average
VP - If they go on a run, they are unstoppable.
14. Team with the fewest deaths in a game
OG - I always think about OG as a very careful team, hence they die not that often.
15. Team with most assits in a game
Team Liquid - see point 12., most kills and most assists.
16. Team that wins the longest game
Empire - this is really a bet purely to diversify a bit.
17. Team that wins the shortest game
VP - if they get matched up against an opponent they stomp from the beginning, VP is not the team that fucks around a lot. They end the game as soon as possible.
18. Team with the highest game length average
OG - Their careful approach makes them play longer games
19. Team that picks the most different heroes
VP - they use a lot of different strategies, making them pick a lot of different heroes.
20. Team that picks the fewest different heroes
HellRaisers - I watched their qualifiers and I think they try to pick very similar heroes every game
21. Player with highest kill average
Miracle
22. Player with most kills in a game
Sumail
23. Player with lowest death average
Abed
24. Player with highest assist average
Jerax
25. Player with most assists in a game
Jerax
26. Player with highest last hit average
Burning
27. Player with most last hits in a game
Matumbaman
28. Player with most GPM in a game
Sumail
29. Player with highest GPM average
Matumbaman
30. Player that plays the most different heroes
QO
31. Total number of games played at the tournament
50-54
32. Total number of heroes picked
101+
33. Total number of heroes banned
81-90
34. Most combined total kills in a game
81-90
35. Longest game of the tournament
80:00-89:59
36. Shortest game of the tournament
15:00-19:59
37. Most kills by a hero in a game
23-25
38. Most deaths by a hero in a game
15-17
39. Most assists by a hero in a game
32-35
40. Highest GPM by a hero in a game
1000+

That's quite a few predictions. I was never a huge follower and better for Dota, but more for CS:GO.. But I still understand what's happening.

Hey thanks for the comment! I played CS a couple years back with my friends... didn't touch it in a long time though. I came up with these predictions. You can answer them in Dota if you purchased a battlepass.
