FINAL STAGE OF THE GURI EL DPRESA.

In this second stage and final construction of this immense dam I had the honor of being a worker but I lend his services for two years and six months when he was just a young man of 20 years, it was a great experience, this dam is called today Simón Bolívar hydroelectric power station, but before it was called Raúl Leoni Hydroelectric Power Plant, but most call it "Represa el Guri", on November 8, 1986 the final stage was completed by Jaime Lusinche's government, who inaugurated it, reaching an installed capacity of 10,000 megawatt, becoming the fourth largest hydroelectric plant in the world and the largest benefactor in its service for Venezuelans and Venezuelans, its location is in Bolívar state, in the Necuima Canyon 100km upstream from the mouth of the Caroní River in the Orinoco.
