Where lies the value of abstract art?

I just read this article about how its value is going up with time and it really moved me because I have been struggling to make my art get seen.

"Abstract paintings are almost like music, in that they connect to senses on a deeper level than other art forms. Some abstract works of art, like those by Picasso, are even said to transcend time and space and put the viewer on a spiritual level not able to be achieved with more traditional art modes. The many mathematical elements in abstract works of art, from shapes like the square, triangle and circle, accomplish the universal look and feel of this art form, giving it timeless quality and value. Many paintings with these geometric shapes have been known to increase in value over time." link

It's soothing to read that paragraph, but I think It's tough to spread and make a buck with this kind of art because most people prefer to buy art that they relate to on a conscious level.

Acabo de leer un artículo sobre cómo su valor sube con el tiempo y me sacudió bastante porque me cuesta que mi arte tenga suficiente exposición.

Me calma leer ese párrafo, pero creo que es difícil distribuir y poder hacer dinero con éste tipo de arte porque la mayoría de las personas prefieren comprar arte que se relaciona con sí mismos a un nivel consciente.

So I digitalized it in that same year

And months later I added some texture and made 4 different colored versions for stickers.

Y meses más tarde les agregué texturas e hice 4 versiones de colores diferentes, para hacer stickers (pegatinas).

Years later, I kept on playing around with it by making a digital collage with some other shapes and images and BAM! Quantum Leap haha

Años más tarde, seguí jugando con ésto, y creé éste collage digital con otras figuras y BUM! Salto Cuántico jaja

Finally, today I exported a new avatar.

Finálmente, hoy exporté un nuevo avatar.

I wonder how many posts of random abstract burundangas (What is that? :O) get swiped away with the touch of a finger every day? How many times will this post be simply clicked away? :)

I wish that more people could connect with others' weird abstractions and be swept away from their feet by the quantic aspects of our existence. This could end up translating into this world as deeper relationships and respect to every single life form that in some way is connected to us. That's all of them haha

That conectedness we all share is what I try to express in most of my abstract art. The way I do this, is by letting my mind flow and create whatever it pleases, whatever crawls into this world through my creative outlet.

Me pregunto cuántas publicaciones de una burundanga (¿qué es eso?) abstracta aleatoria son descartadas con el movimiento de un dedo cada día? Cuántas veces éste post será simplemente cliqueado hacia otro lado? :)
 
Me encantaría que más personas pudieran conectar con la abstraciones raras de otros y dejaran llevarse por los aspectos cuánticos de nuestra existencia. Ésto podría convertirse en éste mundo en relaciones más profundas y respeto a cada forma de vida que de alguna manera se conecta con nosotros. Osea todas jaja
 
Esa conectividad que compartimos es lo que trato de expresar en la mayoría de mi arte abstracto. La manera en que lo hago, es dejando que mi mente fluya y cree lo que le plazca, cualquier cosa que se arrastre hasta éste mundo a través de mi salida creativa.
