How hard is for a child to seek their own future! Watch this video with subs.

Here I am sharing with you a life of a girl, Manika, who has been struggling well enough to doge all the social barriers which is stopping her to pursue her further education.

Her mom committed suicide when she was very young. Reason was, her mother gave birth to two girls and this backward family was left without a son. Due to which she was harassed by her in laws and after she could not bear the accusations for not bearing a male child, she hanged herself to death. After which Manika's maternal uncle filed a case against her father who went to jail soon after the incident.

In April's mega earthquake in Nepal, the jail building collapsed and her father, without any luck for escaping the prison, died within the rebels of the building.

Now, Manika has only her younger sister with her. They both live with their old grand mother. Each and every family member is not interested in her education as they see her as a burden. They propose to get Manika married, who is still a 14 year old girl. She ran away from her home a found shelter with a local radio jockey, Miss Tara Devi.

Ms. Tara has been supporting her since then and Manika successfully cleared her schooling with good GPA (3.35).
