Donald Trump & The Secret Police
The Secret Police are in direct contradiction to the Constitutional Rights afforded to Americans. 'The first secret police, called the Cheka, was established in December 1917 as a temporary institution to be abolished once Vladimir Lenin and the Bolsheviks had consolidated their power in Europe.'
Now in 2020, the United States is seeing its first publicized interaction with unidentifiable state sanctioned actors who detain and disperse American citizens by capturing them and forcing them into unmarked vehicles and taking them to undisclosed locations. The implications of such actions are jarring; however, not enough media is covering how the mere presence of these state actors goes against the fabric of the Bill of Rights. Is it legal? Why or why not?
More to come.
