This is absolutely horrifying. Thank you for talking about this and raising awareness. Keeping someone illiterate or uneducated in ANY relationship is a power play by the perpetrator. A despicable, COWARDLY power play.
It never makes you more powerful to harm those you say you love. I don't care if you're a man or woman whose doing it.
