How I'm using the blockchain to become financially independent

About me:
I’m an inventor, engineer, husband, and father to two beautiful children (ages 14 and 17). While only about a year ago, I was mesmerized by working a 70 hr/wk job to gain me a seat at the top of a major defense contractor, I suddenly became aware of my mortality within the organization when a new manager took over the company. For the first time in my long career, I feared that I would get laid off and get thrown out in the streets, possibly losing my home, cars, and self-esteem. All that hard work over so many years, awards, inventions, and patents, I suddenly became aware of the reality to the fact that I was a robot that can be exchanged for spare parts at the whim of some maniac in the company. Prior to that, I had the illusion that I was sacrificing myself for some greater good and long term reward – boy was I F’d up in the head. So, I decided to take a careful look at the possibility of what might happen if I got laid off and what steps, if any I could take to survive. I was both shocked and amazed at what I learned and I was totally unaware of the economic fiasco and time bomb caused by the central banks.

Stage 1: How do I save what I have from confiscation by the Government
I figured that when I got laid off, that my cars (those with loans) would get repossessed by the lender, my home would get foreclosed, and my savings and retirement funds would get both hammered by expenses to maintain my lifestyle. I’ve seen it before. I knew of a working associate got into personal health issues, and they got wiped out financially. I did not want to be one of those guys. And, while I have an amazing wife, a financial wipeout would likely do untold damage to our relationship and make us look like the fools down the street that can’t hold and job and lost everything. After all, we don’t live in a socialistic society, we all pretty much keep to ourselves. If you go down, you get ignored and avoided. That’s how it works. Homeless people on the streets are full of those guys.

So my first thought was how can I preserve my wealth, declare bankruptcy to avoid paying off my bills (like the Government and most corporations) without the creditors wiping out my bank accounts? And that is when I decided to investigate gold and silver – “why not buy the metals and bury it somewhere? Who could find it and its not registered to any bank, and my large cash deposits would disappear and I could argue that it evaporated to pay expenses– sounds promising”. I checked craigslist to search out individuals trading metals, since I figured that anything like this would be advertised. I found little there, except a local metals storage facility called “BlueVault”. I called and made a visit. They have a local facility in my area.

The guys at Bluevault told me they have customers with metals and all kinds of precious items that are insured for safekeeping. The advantage is that the items are outside the banking system – safe deposit boxes are not safe, and neither is the bank. The bank is essentially a Government snitch. They monitor and report your transactions, and check your goods in safe deposit boxes. Nothing is honest or safe in a “safe deposit box”. Anyway, back to Bluevault. I learned that I could buy metals and store them at Bluevault and they don’t report it to the Government – so I guess that’s as good or better than burying at my friends house. But the key advantage of the metals is that you have monetary worth that can be stashed anywhere. Fiat currency is just paper and can be devalued overnight by the Government. I also learned from these guys that there is a huge fear that the dollar will become worthless and the metals to gain much value. Bluevault is a way to store the metals safely.

So, I began investigating their devaluation claims on the US Dollar. I searched on youtube and facebook and saw a great deal of coverage on the issue. I had no idea that it was this bad and nothing about it is showing up on mainstream media (TV and radio). I obtained the kitco.com app for the iphone and saw hundreds of news stories on the coming economic collapse and the realtime trading value for precious metals. I became a believer that the metals are the savior for wealth and that the Government is playing a heinous game to piss away all the wealth of the peasants (citizens) to pay for false wars and to line their rich pockets. I was shocked and amazed that such a possibility exists but yet seems to be the best kept secret, but what possible reason? Is the Government trying to bait and trick us? Steal our money? I became aware that this can likely wipe out the fortunes of the many hard working citizens of this country, our senior citizens, and particularly anyone not seeing this coming. The implications are severe. The effects will be to lose all the buying power of the US dollar, and wiping the savings of millions of citizens. We’re talking about driving everyone into poverty, and violence. This is a crime against humanity. I have to the word out on the street.

In the next article I will continue this investigation into what steps I took to rapidly increase my cash accounts to buy precious metals and ways I was able to highly leverage my gains as well as steps I am not taking to build residual income.
