My pupps
Sorry to my followers expecting another Home Automation post. I got sucked in to my feed and found a contest promoting dogs by @supernovastaffy. Well the only things I enjoy more than my Arduinos are my dogs. #dogsofsteemit So here is the short story on them.
My wife found Hazel on Craig’s List about 4 years ago as a puppy.
We rescued Westley from the pound about 3 years ago.
He really needed a forever home. The vet thinks he is about a year older than Hazel. He is just the kindest, gentledog you could ever know. 
Together they are thick-as-thieves.
I discovered that I have more pics and vids of them than I do my human children. Here are a couple of YouTube links just for fun.

Dogs are the best people I have ever met.
Today, I rescued two dogs, both of whom were snarling and quite frightened, that were in danger of being picked up by animal control. I was able to get them back into a safe area (the owner's home) from which they escaped.
Feels good man!

I’m hope the owner of the dinamic duel you escorted home today appreciated your efforts, not many would take on the challenge of two snarling, frightened dogs.
They did. I know the dogs, as a frequent visitor. One of them is just unstable, and actually growls at you while she begs to be petted at your feet. I pet her a lot, and she knows me well enough to not actually bite me. The other dog is her son, and he's just frightened, but also knows me from my constant petting when he's in reach.
My love of dogs enabled them to trust me enough to follow me into the house, where I was able to secure them while on the phone with the homeowner.
It's weird petting a dog resting it's head trustingly on your lap, and growling the whole time. Makes my heart hurt.
