English Bulldogs - Lazy or Low-Energy?

Are English bulldogs lazy?

The new guest post on Word Matters! http://www.ernestdempsey.com/why-english-bulldogs-are-great-family-pets/ says they require lower exercise levels, including short walks. But does lower exercise needs imply laziness?

Online dictionary defines laziness as: "the quality of being unwilling to work or use energy; idleness." I believe we could distinguish "unwillingness to work" from "low-energy" even though the two could be very well related. Somebody having a physical constitution that is below average or not fit to do the average level of daily activity is likely to be unwilling to work as much as their average-constitution fellow human does daily.

In this context, bulldogs can be called lazy for being unwilling to take more exercise, but their laziness is not by choice. It is how they are supposed to be. So unlike some (or most) human laziness, the bulldog's laziness is justifiable.
