Fierce Dog Breed: The Gull Dong
The Gull Dong (also known as the Pakistani Bull Dog) is a cross breed between the Gull Tarrier and the Bully Kutta. The Pakistani Bull Dog as he is also known, is popular in Pakistan but still rare outside the country.
The Gull Dong is a muscular and powerful dog, strongly built and tough. The coat is short, smooth and flat. The only regular color for the Gull Dong has always been white, but today other colors exist as well. Average height is around 27 inches and weight up to 140 pounds.
Having a deep chest with a large head, this is a rugged and serious working breed, very dog-aggressive and not suited for the life of city-dwellers, due to its sharp temperament and wariness of strangers, although it can be very loyally devoted to its master. Intelligent and alert, the Gull Dong makes a great watchdog for owners of fenced properties, but it requires good handling and proper training.
The Gull Dong originated in Pakistan where it is also known as the Bully Gull Terr.
It was made by crossbreeding a Pure Gull Terr with a Bully Kutta (Pakistani Mastiff) in order to produce a dog which had the best of both the two other breeds qualities such as the speed and agility of the Gull Terr but with the size and strength of the Bully Kutta. Very strong and powerful, the Dong was originally bred as a fighting dog and is known to be very aggressive and hard to control.

nice post my friend, this time you select a dog from my country and write an article on it i am so happy about it, well gull dong or we call it as gull terr is known for his speed and activeness, we recognize the gull terr with their standing ears and they are also so faithful and yes peoples of pakistan mostly creates dog fighting contests and they use gull terr for this, thanks for sharing your good information with us my friend.
It is surprising that Pakistan still practices dog fighting contests. It is barbaric and cruel.
indeed i think lack of education is the main reason for this act, i also strongly against such contests, they mostly occur in villages where peoples are less educated and they betting on dogs putting the life of dogs on risk, now govt. mostly takes control over such cruelty but still there are some contests occurs in rare places, i think govt. needs to take more strong action against such cruelty, i hope in a near future pakistan will completely free from such contests.
Thanks for the insight. You are correct.
Im scared of big tough dogs I have a phobia of dogs But I like the cute hairy dogs they seems so soft to hug.

I really love dogs especially those that are aggressive. This dog is one of them, the first time I came to know about Gull Dong a year ago and I found it extremely tough. His owner was the only person who could handle this powerful breed. Gull Dong is quite famous in my country Pakistan. Thank you so much for sharing such a nice post.
I am glad you liked it.
