I was there the day MTV premiered and watched "Video Killed the Radio Star" back in the 80s.
That was truly when MTV was the greatest thing on the planet.
It brought a whole new life to music for me.
Seeing stadium ballads played out, watching Tawny Kitaen sprawl across the hood of the car, the VJs. Good times, good times...
When my kids were growing up in the late 90s and early 2Ks, MTV was nothing but a bunch of garbage.
