Elon Musk surged and decreased Bitcoin and Dogecoin prices but it is certain celebrities can influence and manipulate the cryptocurrency market.

I don't know why Elon Musk doing it but I am amazed by the fact that people are following celebrities just to gain money rather than researching the cryptocurrency they are investing in.

I think people are gambling and it's not a good thing because many get addicted and many lose their lifetime earnings just for the sake of doubling their money. Many are trying to make fortune with the crypto trend.

It happens in the stock market too rather than researching about stock people follow stock advisors. I would advise everyone have some knowledge about stocks and cryptos before investing.

Today we can learn anything and everything on fingertips. There are thousands of free and paid courses and videos on Youtube and other platforms where we can learn the basics of the stock market and cryptocurrency.
