A letter to DOGE: Proof of "Social Value"
The "dragonslayers" have been discussing why after 7 years no coin has leveraged the existing social networks to use as voting power. This would be called something like Proof of Social Value I guess, and it would basically work like this:
- you have a yours.org account (for example)
- on this account, people can upvote your posts
- using a PageRank algorithm we could "objectively" determine how much weight your account has and your voting power (the probability you will mine the next block would be proportional to yor account's weight)
The idea is to launch a coin ourselves, but the more we were thinking the more it was clear there is already a coin that is perfect for this. The name is DOGE, the troll crypto for the internet generation, that is doing great.So, don't make us fork you DOGE, do it yourself.
