in #dog7 years ago

The body of the dog, trapped in a tree's trunk, was able to remain intact for up to 50 years thanks to the chemicals that the tree secreted...

In the state of Georgia in the United States for various needs lumberjack chopping down a tree, they made a remarkable discovery. After loading the tree they cut into the truck, a woodcutter looking at the cut of the tree noticed that there was a dog mummy in the trunk. Woodcutters, who thought they had made an important discovery, took the dog mummy with the tree to a museum. Researchers have finally discovered that the mummy of the dog belongs to the 1960s.

According to researchers, the dog was chasing a squirrel or something, and he came in with it from the bark of the tree. The dog, who did not stop following his prey, climbed up from the void in the tree trunk to the heights. But he coul get in and stuck there and died.

Mummy Dog name is Chuckie, was found in a chestnut tree. In the chestnut tree, tannins are used in animal freezing procedures to prevent the body from rotting. And when the body of our stuck friend was covered with tannin, the decay didn't happen.

And finally, stuckie was in a tree. Because the tree sucked all the moisture in the air, it helped the body dry. The dry body was mummified with the effect of the grain. And because the body was too high, the other Hunters could not smell it and could not reach it. Nearly 50-year-old mummy of stucke is currently on display at the Southern Forest World Museum.

Museum officials do not remove it from the trunk of the tree to prevent the mummy dog's from getting damaged and losing its authenticity.

Poor pup! But that’s an awesome store! Pretty amazing how he was so intact when they found him all those years later! I wonder if they were able to find the owner actual through their research. 🤔

who knows, maybe the owner of the dog is alive :)

I know! That’s why I said that! Sad for them but still pretty interesting story!
