Blind Cocker Spaniel (Diva) Needs Treatment & a New Family

The following was on my Facebook timeline. It was shared by, Abandoned Angels Cocker Spaniel Rescue, Inc. My husband & I would love to take her. We already have three kitties & we live in a studio. Once we get a home, watch out, lol. We're going to be doing some serious rescue. If you or someone you know lives in the NY area & could, at least, foster, please consider it. Prayers, cares & shares are also appreciated. I removed a link that was for PayPal for medical expenses (that's what the $2 Tues is about). BEAUTIFUL, BLIND AND BROKEN-HEARTED!

Meet Diva! This petite and very sweet blind nine-year-old female Cocker Spaniel was surrendered to the NYCACC Shelter by her family due to NO TIME! The chance of her being adopted at the shelter were slim to none! We are overloaded with medical cases, but we could not NOT bear for this sweet little girl to remain behind bars, waiting for her family to return, get sick or possibly be euthanized. DIVA will be heading our way TODAY! She will be transported by the shelter directly to our veterinary clinic to provide medical care and assess her needs. Diva has chronic ear disease, possible glaucoma and must see an ophthalmologist very soon.
