Theory: A state of Quantum SuperTIME - The unknown moment in time a particle exists before being observed

in #doekoedijk6 years ago

For months now, I've been walking around with a thought about an intriguing possibility in fundamental physics. I have extensively searched the internet for it. However, it didn't return any relevant relating results. As time went on, I slowly developed the thought into the beginnings of a theory. It's at this stage that I must point out the following:

  • I have only a basic understanding of fundamental physics, I lack in-depth knowledge and what I do know about the subject is mostly learned through watching documentaries.
  • please don't interpret my theory as an attempt to arrogantly explain the nature of the universe
  • instead, look at it simply as "food for thought"
  • I don't shy away from critique or a difference in opinion and I welcome a deep discussion about the matter

As I understand
Proven by science, an unobserved particle is in a state of Quantum Superposition. Its location in space can not be accurately determined until it is observed. Only trough probability are we able to estimate the most likely position in space that it will actually be found when observed.

So, here is my thought:

Supertime

In addition to Quantum Superpostion could there also be a state of Quantum Supertime? In other words, before observing it, could a particle be in a state of Superposition but also simultaneously be in a state of Supertime. Its exact position in space is unknown, but also its moment in time. When we are not looking, that particle would exist somewhere in space, in the:

  • distant past (possible but very unlikely)
  • past (likely)
  • now (most likely)
  • future (likely)
  • far future (possible but very unlikely)

Unlike the uncertainty regarding the exact location of a particle in Superposition, predicting when a particle will be observed appears to be 100% predictable. It will always be found in the present/now.

As I understand
The vacuum of space is not empty. Countless particles are constantly created, they exist a fraction of nano second and are then annihilated. In other words, particles pop in and out of existence.

Echos of Supertime in empty space
Could these appearing and disappearing particles in empty space, be echos of the pre- or post-existence of unobserved particles in the past and future? Could this possibly validate a theory of Supertime?

As I understand
The force of gravity is unexpectedly weak and this can still not yet be fully explained.

Gravity as a fabric in time
Could the force of gravity also be spread over time, working on observed matter but also on all the unmaterialized matter in Supertime. We, airplanes, comets, planets, stars, galaxies, we all feel gravity. But what about unobserved particles in the past and future? As long as a particle is not observed, then in Supertime it could experience the same gravity. When observed in the present, it no longer does.

As theorized in the paragraph above
Gravity has an effect on particles in Supertime.

The observation of Dark Matter as a result of leaked gravity into the vacuum of space
If the appearing and disappearing particles in empty space are echos of Supertime, and those particles experienced gravity when they existed before and after observation, could they somehow leak gravity from their unmaterialized past and future states into our present, and be responsible for the indirect observations of Dark Matter?

Being in a known pkace at an unknown time is more or less the same thing as being in an unknown place at a known time. Think about spacetime as one multidimentional continuum.

Also, as far as I know, many theories require gravity to be the weakest force. So it is not that unexpected.
