The show is a weekly online series Trust Disrupted: Bitcoin and the Blockchain starts on Monday 10 October on the YouTube channel to TechCrunch.

The protagonist of the film "the Revolution in trust: bitcoin and the blockchain" is Nathaniel Popper, the economic columnist for the New York Times and author of the book "Digital gold", which together with bitcoin developers, scientists and other important representatives of the cryptocurrency community covers the history of bitcoin and is thinking about his future.

The first series is dedicated to creating bitcoin and the blockchain. In the second episode tells about mining and miners, regulating bitcoin. Heroes of the third part will argue about how to handle the flow of traffic on the network - whether it should be centralized or decentralized. In the fourth episode says about the rise of digital currency and how it relates to major financial institutions. The fifth is devoted to Ethereum. The final part tells of the confrontation between the concepts of open and closed blockchain and how a distributed registry technology can change the world.

The book of Nathaniel Popper's "Digital gold" is the most popular book about cryptocurrency today: in 2015, it entered the list of the best books on business in the ranking of the Financial Times.
