You want to know what really pisses me off about steemit? When people who can't type a single legible sentence post spam and plagiarism and make more money off of a single freaking meme than I have off of all my posts together!
This pork shank is a perfect example.
And Dmania needs to stop rewarding these morons just for "view post on dmania."
It is intensely aggravating. Even more so than whales voting for themselves. At least that makes sense, its greed, plain and simple. But this shit, this voting for spammers and plagiarizers? It doesn't make a damn bit of sense and it is harmful to everyone but the spammers. Yes, it is even harmful for those voting for them.

Yes, fully agree with you. I try to put thought into my posts, and it is annoying to see spam get rewarded...
However, there is nothing that can be done if the witnesses don't do anything. Best course for me, is write well and ignore the spam. Just don't look at the trending.
There is something to do, in fact there are a few.
These things aren't much. But together we can do some good
I think the reporting is a good idea, as is voting for a good witness.
However, I think the downvoting is a futile cause. Similar to the "war" on Haejin, it doesn't really fix the problem. It just pushes the problem under until you stop looking and then there it is again! It really is a structural problem that needs a proper fix.

Ah yes, but the point is that leaving a reply attached to the bot means it remains visible near the top, where as mine would sink to the bottom as I didn't up vote the post. The link to the gif I posted is based on the original video which has a wider format, but it does prove that the post is far from original. I'm not going to waste my time to find the original video. Also check out his self up votes on the comments with 2 votes; he uses 2 accounts: apon6431 and apon6631.
