dLive has launched a new campaign for gamers!
@dLive is a decentralized streaming solution built on top of the STEEM blockchain. Instead of going through 3rd parts like Twitch and youtube, the streamer and viewer can transact directly. Gone are the days where the service providers bagged the most of the profits, while the content creators were left with scraps. With dLive, 50% of the profits go to the creator of the content and 50% goes to the audience voting (curators). Rejoice!
They recently launched a campaign for gamers where we're rewarded with upvotes for streaming on their platform. The campaign will last until the 31st of January and is a very nice incentive to get started with d.Live and streaming.
I just hosted my first session on dLive, and everything went smoothly. Easy to customize, lag free and good quality. We were playing a mode called ARAM in League of Legends, one of the most popular computer games in the world, where champion selection is randomized, and two teams of 5 are fighting each other in one 'lane'. We won the first game, while the second was a loss. GGWP regardless!

Well @partywalrus. Its nice to see the revolution STEEM BLOCKHAIN has created. Giving the power and money back to content creator. This is truely rewarding who the reward is due to.

For sure! No longer will we give away our attention and creativity for large corporations to profit from.
It's almost comical to see how some people reject this because they find it to be too good to be true... Hopefully, things are about to change with all the campaigning, and I believe 2018 will be the year of the altcoin (at least those who are built on scaling blockchains).
Great post! Im a PC gamer and love playing Overwatch, and other FPS games like Deus Ex, Quantum Break, Doom etc.. @partywalrus
@grayarty Ah, been playing some Overwatch myself. I'm kinda bad at FPS tho, so I usually end up getting carried by some hombres :-p I've not played the newest Deus Ex tho... Did it live up to expectations?
yes I really enjoyed playing Deus...highly recommend! I'm bad at fps games too, but the beauty of overwatch is that doesn't really matter, u can play support or maybe even a hero like Reinhardt..u don't really need to get kills, just try your best to support your team...but I improved so much in fps games after playing Overwatch
Yeah, this is true. Lucian is the go-to hero when everything else fails, lol.
