Exploring Saddle Mountain in Arizona
On my first Live Stream on DLive I went exploring Saddle Mountain in Arizona.
I'm parked out here in the desert on BLM land and living in my truck. @wehmoen helped me get DLive streaming from my phone, so I decided to go on a little adventure into the mountains and bring you all along.
We saw cacti, mysterious animal holes, crystalline rocks, and even discovered a cave in the mountain!
Sadly the 4G signal seems to have dropped out right when I reached the cave, so only I got to experience the glory... and it was truly glorious! I think someone could live in that cave if they wanted to.
Anyway, hope you enjoyed the first episode of The Wizard Live, and I'll see you next time!
Thanks for stopping by!

My video is at DLive
Wish we could watch! we have super slow internet out here in the boonies and it wont load! Sounds like a great time :)
Are you usually able to watch my other videos? I'm wondering if there's a hosting issue specific to DLive since the other videos are on DTube and YouTube.
i wrote you back on dlive and i can't see the comment here too (not sure why). just tried it again and now i can see it! took a while to load (and yes we can watch your other vids, it all just takes a while to load :))
I think there's some issue with DLive at the moment. It's not showing this video in my list of uploads either. They're looking into it.
ah the early days of a new platform! i am watching it, it's just loading segment by segment. you're in a beautiful area, just bright fresh skies... lots of stars tonight?
The stars are starting to come out now, though Phoenix is nearby and the light pollution keeps it from getting to that mind blowingly impressive level.
Thanks for taking us along on that hike. It’s really more beautiful out here than I expected. Coming from the northwest I wasn’t sure how I would like it with no trees but I’ve found it to be uniquely beautiful. The stars in Lake Havasu, out here on BLM, are spectacular and the sky is so big. That’s one benefit to no giant trees. Safe travels.
The trees really introduce a whole other type of world. That new world hasn't really been here all that long compared to the age of the Earth. When measured in time, the desert world is common to this planet and many other planets. Being out here feels more ancient to me than the forests back home. The new world has its own wonders and is so much more rare in the grand scheme of things.
Thank you for your well wishes. I wish you the same on your upcoming trip back North.
I'm loving what you got goin' on over there, brother. What a perfect time of year.
Aye, the desert is amazing in the a Winter! I'm wondering where I should go when it starts to get too hot here.
I would say North obviously, but the equator might be nice too. You got the ultimate freedom mobile. Get some international spice.
But the cool thing about going to the Rockies, Canada or Alaska is you can have the enjoyable temperatures guide your journey and timeline.
