Upload a video to DLive & Auto Posting to Steem! [o10] #tenminteach
another video for the help center in the hope that i get noticed by the big dlive algorithm in the cloud and hopefully will bring you some knowledge as a first time user if you are wondering out the process works especially when it comes to the steem blockchain.
when you upload a video (it’s the same for dtube) to the dlive platform you are asked for a title, body and some tags. it uses these in the same way as writing a post on steemit — i find it’s better to write in your favourite markdown editor and copy and paste, saves losing it and you have a backup to work from for next time.
in the video i try and walk you through what happens when you upload a video (in fact, i’m going to record the process of me uploading this very post’s video) to dlive — it’s just a series of steps and as long as you have optimised your video clip then it should not take too long to upload.
remember when you use your login details on @Dlive you are logged onto the steem blockchain, the same blockchain that your steemit.com blog is connected too, when you are entering a title, blog contents it’s exactly like you would if you were writing for your blog so remember to put all your footers and graphics in! :)

My video is at DLive
I am having real problems to upload to DLive.
Please look at it here:
https://steemit.com/dlive/@overunitydotcom/dlive-upload-problems
The problem does also occurr with the Chrome browser... Any
idea how to fix this ? Should I try to encode the 640x480 sized MP4 file again ? It just has normal 25 Hz frame and data rates, was encoded by Powerdirector and the file plays fine in Firefox and Chrome, if I directly drop the file into these browsers....
Many thanks.
Regards, Stefan.
Hmm, my Mp4 file is a 4:3 type in 640x480 size , as it came from an old video tape...
So maybe I should reformat it into 16:9 by using black borders around it and rescale it to 1280x720p then ?
Or I could try to upload it to Youtube and then download the 720p version from there and try to upload this then ??
sorry i don't know with powerdirector. i use a mac. sorry!
@teamhumble can you use obs on mobile? Or it has to be on a system?
yes, it's possible i think, i'll look at that next, it's a big difficult thou because of the way you have to have new details each time to set it up.
