Finally got the time to finish your video from 3 days before. Don't flag me on my spammy posts. Reason I'm doing that is to show you how exactly people make social media block chain suck(not only Steemit, I know a few others having the same problem). You can start any useful contest or any challenge, people will just come in and take the easy way out. Most didn't even read the introductory post, as we all know there are rules to follow! Hence, we can see people start to make seriously low quality post. Oh look this is my flower. It's pretty. Please upvote, resteem, and follow. Oh look, today I found my cat on my kitchen cabinet. Please upvote, resteem and follow. For the love of God, the flower is there everyday and it's ugly to my point of view! Cant you at least explain why do you think it's pretty? Who planted it? Any special meaning to your life? How often do you pay attention to it and was it worth it? And the bloody cat has been on your kitchen cabinet every day and slowly eating up your dry food and you blame on the mouse! I mean come on! Rules are rules! Either you make it or break it for fuck sake.
Having said that I'm 1 of the dark horse whom always like to go against the law, but I do make sure I break the law properly and go against traffic. Even if I get punished, I'd make sure I get famous! Good job in calling out those human robots. They make enough damage to the platform. I just posted a food blog yesterday, after posted immediately I scroll back to #foodphotography section, damn it I found my thumbnail will absolutely derail my readers. Oh look, Dave had became one of those generic poster. I shall skip this post and wait for his other blog entry. Now I had to think of a way how NOT to make my food blog looks like a food blog.
your food posts have personal stories to them, which makes it so much more enjoyable than most soulless food photos out there.
i'm glad you found time to watch those videos. i can't watch those myself because it just makes cringe.
btw you lured @sumonpra into thinking that people are writing about their passion in the comments. while some people can't get through the language barrier, some are just plain fucking dumb..

at last I could watch and understand your video man @roundbeargames, here are two problems most people do not read or understand what you say and it is not a question of language because that's what the translator is for, the other problem is that I think they only write to you looking for your vote to anything that they publish, I know you want to help many but I think you should start to "punish" comments and post generic and boring to see if so people improve, I think you do not vote that content or vote with 0 , 01 sbd to see if they still do not get it;)
i'm running a small blacklist of my own so that i completely ignore them. for the most part i'm left with humans now, which i'm quite happy with. there's still a few with language barriers or some who just don't get it. but those are few. i think we'll be ok :)
From now on, maintain 1 list will do. The mute list. You can alwasy go back to [Setting] and check back your mute list. I don't really award a MUTE to bot that follows me, but I do mute those leaving nonsense comment on my posts. Others might seen it, but I don't wanna know and that's all.
Ok seriously, I purposely made that comment to piss you off see if you downvote me. So I'm going to give you a truthful comment on why and how things can turn from bad to worst, and what I like about your comment and what can be improved in my point of view:
What I agree
You're absofuckinglutely right about people commenting for the sake of exposure, trying to gain some upvote. Despite they haven't read nor having tiny little bit of understanding about the post, they still comment - Congratulations. Good post. Thanks. Resteemed. Thank you for the post. Marvelous.
What I disagree
I have this experience when someone came and spam commenting my post, I hit the flag. The comment went muted. The moment I check back my blog, the spam comment came back alive! Holy sheep another account with several thousand SP left a reply to that comment, "do not flag this". You know what? that was originally a circle jerking material from that dolphin. It could be a secondary account for that dolphin to make spammy comment so he/she can upvote and circle jerk between those accounts.
Things I do
Downvote is 1 last thing I would do, there are alternative. If those spam comment came from BOT, check for the bot comment first. If they're repeatedly spam across different tags, can report to Steemcleaners, and you'll be rewarded with Steem Power! After which, mute the user/bot will do and you shall never see him/her/it again in future. Different kind of medicine treat different kind of illnesses. Some medication brings BENEFIT to oneself if you know how to do it!
p/s: I did checked your wallet. I know your vote worth zero. But I'd be happy to see you press the little upvote button for me to acknowledge my effort in explaining to you.
this is an interesting take. i'd add that most people who come here are worse than bots. they're human beings trying to trick you into believing you have loyal supporters. fortunately they make it kinda obvious. some get through but if they're willing to put in that much work pretending to be someone else, i don't even care at that point. it's real work actually.
yes, in most cases they're not even worth a downvote. i'd hate to spend my resources doing it. i'm already spread thin supporting organic followers with what little sp i have :)
