War Thunder Livestream #9 P-51 Mustang The Ultimate Aerial Fighter?

Hello my name is Rambo64bit and today I will be taking to the skies in the (NAA) North American Aviation P-51 Mustang. The P-51 Mustang was created as a high altitude long range fighter capable of maintaining air superiority over Europe. It was intended for the British as it housed the Allison V-1710 engine. The British used the Mustang mk 1 as a tactical reconnaissance and fighter bomber. It wasn't until the Mustang mk 3 that received it's powerful Rolls-Royce Merlin V-12 engine and 6 .50 caliber weapons that made it the primary fighter over Europe. At the middle of 1944 the mustang mk 4 also known as the P-51D received a more powerful engine the Packard V-1650-7 which helped took control of the skies.
