RE: Meeting Porn Punks: Milka Manson & Sabrina Sweet! 😺😸

in #dlive7 years ago

Hey @oldtimer, thanks and I remember you from a long time ago and appreciate your wisdom.

Any potential flaggers out there I would ask if you feel entitled to flag some one on the grounds of not liking what they post? Isn't that a violation of community agreed guidelines? I mean of course you can do whatever you want, however do you even consider this post to be "porn"?

There are many in this community who will protect their free speech and even fight for their right to express themselves. There are some like me who have simply lived a different life and through sharing different perspectives offer value to the platform.

In my opinion the nsfw tag is included as a gesture of respect, not a necessity. I will be including it for all posts that I feel are in fact not safe for work. In my opinion that is more than adequate, auto-hiding or censoring myself is not in alignment with me and would imply a sense of shame. Which I feel is not healthy for sexual or liberal attitudes overall.

Thank you for this helpful comment dear friend, I feel it invites an important topic of discussion 👍

I'm for free speech as well but I know some weird guys flagging people with good intentions. I support all projects who help steem community and have nothing against nsfw content. I was just trying to warn you. I saw you're active on dporn discord.

Thank you and I got that warning. I was also simply sharing some words for any future readers coming to this post with similar thoughts/questions.

I feel like we crossed paths way earlier on, back when I was test posting nsfw a year ago. I appreciated your open-mindedness and support of all steem communities then; and even more so now that I've caught up on @dporn politics.
