DLive Contest and Suggestions!
Starting to earn money from live streaming has never been easier thanks to the Steem blockchain, @dlive at https://www.dlive.io/ and a generous delegation from Steemit Inc! For any of us that have already tried live streaming on YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, Beam/Mixer, Hitbox/Smashcast, and Facebook, we know that the hardest thing to do on a live stream is to first get viewers. Often it may take months or years of live streaming to even get a consistent group of five or ten people that watch. Meanwhile, to actually make any money is nearly impossible for 99% of us attempting to live stream. Even with an audience of millions online, I have struggled to earn anything live streaming even with hundreds of hours and as many as 700 viewers live at once.
With @dlive, we have a chance to change all that because the Steem blockchain helps bring new viewers into what usually is at most one live stream on @dlive. Meanwhile, @dlive just launched a new contest offering as much as $500 in an upvote for streaming live which when turned into USD is really about $1,000 at $4 SBD to $1 USD. While this is after my bedtime on the east coast in the USA, I will be streaming live cryptocurrency price charts, testing @dlive to see if it works for 12+ hours, and am seeking feedback on how to improve my stream. First, what I need help with followed by suggestions!
Help Me Improve?
Currently I am using Wirecast 8 to live stream to @dlive with screencaptures of

While this is functional, I want to do much better. I want to use a software that will allow me to pull the data from websites every single second and allow me to customize the animations, choose which cryptocurrencies I show, and use multiple windows in Wirecast. What I do not know is which software to try? I am not sure if it is possible to use Microsoft PowerPoint or Keynote to do that. If you have an idea for what I can try to produce this result on my Mac Pro to use in the live stream, would you please make a suggestion in the comments because that will point me in the right direction? I already did some googling and so far have nothing to show for it.
Second, I want to make a show that is extremely valuable for viewers that has recommendations such as what cryptocurrency to buy that day and answers questions like should I sell Ripple or why is the market down today. What I am not sure how to do is easily incorporate that into the live stream. I have a discord channel setup I can use to allow partners at https://jerrybanfield.com/partners/ to talk on the stream and I want to do more than that. I could use a PowerPoint show and just make updates to it daily. A more interactive solution would be better. I already googled on this too and so far am not happy with the mostly chat bots I have found.
Suggestion for @dlive
The 2 million Steem power delegation from Steemit Inc via @misterdelegation can do a lot to help bring more live streamers to https://www.dlive.io/ and build the Steem blockchain. @dtube has a similar delegation and does an outstanding job with upvoting many different creators at all times of the day which has done a lot to motivate more uploads which in turn makes @dtube attractive for viewers.
Many of us would like to try live streaming on @dlive and we need to be able to do it when the time is best for us along with getting the highest upvotes possible. My best time to live stream is 10 am to 11 am EST. I have the ability to promote this to millions among all my social media accounts and with ads. If those of us using @dlive know we can count on votes from @dlive regardless of when we stream, we have a lot of motivation to go all in on @dlive which is ultimately what we need for @dlive to take off. If we think we have to stream at certain times, most of us are unlikely to give it a try.
When @dlive consistently votes up live streams, it will be very easy to get new streams with larger audiences onboard. A tip in their live stream for $5 will easily promote it.

@brandonfrye I was unaware of this also until the downvote on my post because I go weeks without reading any posts on the trending page. I updated my bot so that it has a max age of 3.5 days now also which means going forward using my bot is fine. Most bots currently have an older post age still. Downvotes are a cost of doing business on Steem I am one of the most downvoted authors on here!

This is bs. They downvote me and I use the Bid Bots the same day I make the posts. I'm glad you can say "Thank you" since you're so wealthy. Meanwhile, those of us that used your bot or other bots and were hit after have nothing. We're flat broke and still no one sees our content.

Everyone thinks different, what you may find a great writing style, I may find to be junk and vice versa. This place is kind of built backwards, they call it social media but want professional bloggers. A blog is a blog and social media is well social. I don't find the two to be the same, many do.
