Starcraft 2 / Placement Matches

I have two more placement matches left to play until I get placed into a league for the first time in 7 years!

*My current record is 2 wins and 1 loss, will I get into Silver, Gold? maybe even Platinum?"

Placement matches
In Starcraft 2, you have to play five placement matches to determine your "Match Making Rating". This is how the system determines which level of player to pit against you in the ranked matches as well as which league to place you.

Here are the leagues from highest to lowest.

Grandmaster
Master
Diamond
Platinum
Gold
Silver
Bronze

I don't expect to be much above Silver given I haven't played the game in 7 years but let's see how it goes!

Hello everyone, I consider myself an old school gamer with a background in FPS. I started playing Counter Strike 1.3 over a decade ago and was a competitive player all the way till the game was replaced with CSS. I decided to play Starcraft 2 when it originally launched in 2010 and stopped playing by the time Heart of the Swarm was released. At my peak, I was a top Diamond Player frequently beating players in the Master League but never got the promotion.

7 years after retiring from Wings of Liberty, I'm back to try climb the ranks in Legacy of the Void.

It's going to be tough learning the game from scratch again, but will you join me on my quest to be a master league player?
