RE: How to Light and Use an Earthen Oven to Cook
Isn't that the truth! That is what we actually pay them for--to be of service! Things have gotten way out of kilter, yet they are creating their own demise. Having many witnesses, photos and videos of their dishonor will no doubt shine the light on their darkness. The trick is finding the most powerful way to show it, as we know the system as a whole is all in on the corruption. What is happening with the state of things as they stand now is not sustainable. When people wake up, their energy will go into something way more beneficial, and attention and participation in the dark side will diminish, being applied to more valuable and honorable avenues. Let's hope that it is activated sooner than later.
hey again everlove! very well said...yes how to get the truth out to people because if people could see what you're doing there almost all of them would support it, at least that's what I believe, I hope that's true.
And it makes the police look like bullies which they come across as quite frequently! I wish you much peace and success.
Two of the police here during the most recent incident were asking questions about how we live so sustainably, turned to each other and remarked about how since they've been talking about it for some time, they should just be doing it like we are. We may have inspired them to take a leap, or at least planted some seeds.
A third said he was living a lot of what we live and by the end of the day, said he needed to reconsider his choice of careers. Considering her was standing in my kitchen with his gun 5 years ago too, his commitment to that hopefully will be accelerated.
We've been stopped while out on the streets by a couple of cops, who once they realized who we were, they apologized profusely for their department and said they felt like they were in the midst of celebrities.
People at the courthouse know who we are and gave us some quite unexpected tips.
So I believe there is hope, just how long it will take for people to really step up and make change is the question. People are beginning to see, even those living some intense realities to the contrary of freedom. I hope we get to see the transformation in our lifetime!
howdy back everlove! wow that's some really good news in the form of planted seeds like you said! That is encouraging. There should be a way to get in good with them or at least some of them.
Have you guys thought about inviting them to a big dinner at your compound? you know, to thank them for keeping the community safe? or something along those lines?
I just think it's going to take them getting to know you guys and what you're able to accomplish up close and personal one on one and if you could have a monthly or weekly free dinner or something for them just think what that could create?
If they know that you honor and respect them then they would work with you and protect your rights and your operation. It might be hard to start with both your bunch and their bunch not quite sure about each other but that would be a game changer if you could pull it off.
During the SWAT raid I asked nearly every policeman on my land
"Why are you doing this? You can't believe this is an honorable thing to do."
They said while pointing at the others "I'm not a part of that!"
I said "Yes you are, you are holding the gun! Without the guns, this wouldn't be happening."
"Well, I'm just doing my job."
"Why are you doing this job?"
"I have to feed my family!"
I said "I feed my family, and a lot of other families, and I don't hold guns at anyone's head to do it." Pointing out to the tractors and weed wackers cutting down our crops we feed the people with.
I told them "lay your guns down, bring your family here, and I will feed them."
I'm sure that made them think some, and I'm sure they've never experienced a raid like this before. But ultimately none of them stood up to do anything about it, then or any time after that to my knowledge.
We rented a room at the library, invited every cop, code compliance officer, sargeant and deputy who set food on our land, the sheriff, mayor, and city manager to talk about what we could do to actually benefit the community, like grow gardens. Not a single one of them showed or even gave us the courtesy of a response.
They trespassed onto our land recently 3x in one day (crawling through our fence and bamboo borders) as if they were grandfathered in or something. We said plenty to them during those visits too that could potentially help them see the real deal. But it may just be one person at a time, one moment at a time. I still have hope. I don't believe they are all bad people, just very programmed, irresponsible and complacent. I hope things will change. The best we can do is be the change ourselves.
wow everlove! that is totally amazing. I mean you guys have bent over backwards and made all those efforts just like I was thinking was needed and they gave zero response. huh... well I'm hoping that it will start with one at a time thing and begin to change.
But that really would have been something if even a couple of them had showed up there at the library!
I applaud you guys for taking such a wise and Godly approach, a loving approach.
What did they say the purpose of their visits were that day?
They were HOPING we were running a marijuana drug cartel operation. Even their under cover agents, helicopters and unmanned drones could not substantiate their hopes. Really, it was just their way of attempting to "put us in our place", and be sure that the joys of freedom could not be heard by others. Free people do not make good slaves.
I do believe it is a one-at-a-time situation--at least until we get to the 100th monkey! Love is contagious, so hopefully the depths of it will be tuned into, felt, and inspiration for change.
howdy today everlove! oh they were hoping that you guys were a big drug cartel! lol. I'm sorry that is so not funny but it sounds funny because it's so ludicrous! wow.
So do you know why they would suspect such a thing? I mean what was their evidence, or do you need evidence anymore?
Oh, you haven't heard or experienced it yet, huh?
Tomato and okra plants that are over 12" tall are enough to give rise to corrupted minds. No evidence is needed, and a warrant is not even needed! They do whatever they want!
