Even proof of secret societies existing and proof that they often lie get you no closer to providing evidence that they're lying about X, Y, or Z, be it the shape of the earth or space accomplishments or you-name-it.
A rational mind can't help but conclude that the earth is indeed spherical, if not only based on some simple experiments that we can conduct on our own, understanding triangulation (basic geometry). It's a bit more difficult to reach a conclusion about space exploration, based on logic alone, but Occam's Razor is heavily tilted on the majoritiy's view when it comes to the moon landing.
It would likely take billions, if not trillions of dollars in resources to hide such a major, world-wide broadcasted, event, and for what? Who really even cares about whether the moon landing happened or not? Think about it. What does it really change? Does it make the majority easier to control? No. Then why go through so much trouble to fake it?
The more you think about it, the more you can't help but conclude that it would be a totally stupid thing for those in control to try to pull off. I mean, they are risking a coup that raids their houses and kills them in the night, if they have been lying to us over a major event like this, and for what? Shits and giggles? I think people that find themselves surrounded by million dollar estates, body guards, and billions of dollars in assets tend to be smarter than that.
Do those in power want to control the psychology of the masses? That's a no-brainer. Of course they do. They directly benefit by the masses being stupid and easily lead (submissive). However, they in no way benefit from us believing that a minor branch of the government (NASA) accomplished space exploration in the 60's and 70's. It does nothing for them. To lie about it would be a massive risk for essentially no rewards. It makes absolutely no sense.
