I always find your videos helpful. It was until recently i got to know i have different kinds of keys; posting, active, and the master one, which i always use. This is my source of income hahaha i gotta guard it. Thanks dear.

yes never use your master password, always use your posting key !! :D glad you are being safe!

With your amazing videos, i couldn't help but be safe. Thank you for all you do. Always appreciate you dear.

You know what, I have heard and read about some of the different keys to ones account but haven't quite taken them seriously

I think I am better enlightened by your video @allasyummyfood.

I would have to treat my account passwords with every seriousness henceforth.

Just recently, I was been redirected to a page that requested for my key. Fortunately I could not find it at the moment.

It was later I discovered from someone, that, the page was not original steemit page and my mouth was agape

Thanks once more for the clip @allasyummyfood.

yeahh well done, never give out your keys where its not official. !! you are welcome!

Good points. I think I prefer storing my passwords in a hidden encrypted file which is stored in a couple of offline digital media and hidden. Having a paper copy is one way I guess, but it might be an idea to change one of the letters using your own secret code. For example, in all of your written down passwords you could change the 3rd letter for the next letter in the alphabet. That way you know to change it back but if someone should get hold of the paper they'd have no way of knowing which bit had been changed.

Alternatively, you can use one of the many password managing apps, and store it offline(in a pendrive for example). Always have a backup!

Cool, its good to see so many steemians putting the effort out to prtect everyone from these craaazy phishing hacks that have been circulating! @guiltyparties and @simplymike both have showed initiative this week as well to protect us from misinformation and bad actors. Good luck @allasyummyfood awesome vid!

yeah i know there has been a lot of scam! :(

As i liked to have fun with hacking i understood one thing - most money you can steal/get not because of guessing passwords or using big hacker skills but just using social skills...you will not believe how easy is to get so many unauthorized things in institutions even like bank, you need only one not "bright" employee and know basic statistics. 99% times human is weakest link.

Just at least print on paper your most important passwords(not only for steem) and delete it from your browser in case your device would be hacked,i know people are lazy so it can help:D even when having' millions they are still can be very naive:).

Thanks for this tip.
I'm grateful.
