Bangladesh rest off-form Tamim for Afghan Test | Sport24

Afghanistan arrive later in August for their maiden Test against Bangladesh in Chittagong from September 5.

Chief selector Minhajul Abedin said Tamim would also be rested during a tri-nation Twenty20 tournament from September 13 which will also involve Zimbabwe.

Bangladesh opener batsman Tamim Iqbal has been out of the match which is going to be in front of Afghanistan and he needs some rest, he will rest till and a tri series is also going to start He will

probably stay out of the Test match on Afghanistan Zimbabwe and Bangladesh in the hope that after his fitness is correct he can comeback again in the match. Iqbal is a very important batsman

from Bangladesh's point of view and it is a bit disappointing for Bangladesh, but still very talented in Bangladesh, this team has done well in cricket to a great extent in the first match.
