Earthquake Magnitude 5.8 Shakes Istanbul, Damages Mosques
Istanbul was rocked by a strong earthquake which halted life later 2 pm. Giving that it happened afternoon, many people at work and children at schools experienced it.
Cell phone networks had gone down for hours , thus people couldn't communicate in the year "2019" and in the major city of Turkey.
20 years after the devastating 1999 Marmara earthquake which was 7.6 magnitude, nothing seems to have been ready for the expected big earthquake in Marmara region.
