Ambati Rayadu's decision to retire from all forms of cricket is more of a childish one in my opinion. He was supposed to be in the World Cup squad and bat at number 4 spot but his dipping form meant that he was dropped from the squad.
He would have expected to be called as a replacement when Vijay Shankar was ruled out but the inclusion of Mayank Aggarwal came as a disappointing news to him and after few days, he decided to retire.

A player wasted by India. He deserved much more than this. He was overlooked throughout his career and when it was his time, when he was in the form of his life, he was given very less opportunities and whatever opportunities he had got he had always come up good. It is disappointing to see player of such caliber retiring and being wasted. Shame!
