I think everybody knows that had Kobe gone to college it would have been Duke also Coach K on multiple occasions could have coached the Lakers but chose to remain at Duke. Everyone is a brand now and wants to be accepted. Kobe just wanted to compete, make everyone surrender and win. Now that he passed, it is a wake up call that we should never tire to seek out excellence not for recognition but the sheer need to excel. Even in death Kobe is showing us how to do things, how to attack life. Stats are just that. Stats. Kobe won in life. He showed us how to be a winner.
