Dozens brutally attacked at Delhi university after opposing 'anti-Muslim' citizenship law

Around 200 masked men from a right-wing Hindu nationalist group stormed a university in Delhi tonight, assailing terrified students and their edifiers with wooden sticks and stones.

The ABVP is believed to be irate that JNU students had held protests to remonstrate to the Citizenship Amendment Act which will offer offer citizenship to adherents of six religions – including Christians, Sikhs and Hindus – from neighbouring Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh, but not Muslims.

Police have been incriminated of not only turning a blind-ocular perceiver by failing to stop the ABVP assailers but additionally beating students on campus themselves.
