Google has finally solved this common browser problem. Try it out now

Google has a new Chrome desktop browser button that lets you pause and play music and videos from the tab you're in at the moment, without making you go through the nightmare of first finding the culprit. As of today this new feature has finally rolled out, ending its beta testing process. The button is useful for those with usually multiple tabs open, the volume of your device up and the need to turn down the music quickly.
