Five more Delta 4-Heavy flights in ULA backlog after final “single stick” launch – Spaceflight Now
The competition is heating up. With the final launch of the Delta 4-Medium (single first-stage rocket) last week, scheduling of the backlog is shifting towards the Delta 4-Heavy, with now five target dates, two in California and three in Florida.
Although there still doesn't make much sense, since SpaceX can provide much heavier payloads with the Falcon Heavy and at a fraction of the cost. So, there are definitely some special circumstances here, which make the Delta a still viable solution.
