Higher Technology Investment and Digital Accessibility to Position Mexico as an Innovation Hub by 2025
Mexico is adopting the innovation economic model to transform its economy and foster growth. For optimum success, Mexico will need to do more than just attract foreign direct investments in higher technology sectors.
It needs to promote innovation within the country. Two factors that would have a retarding effect on its success are the deficient and ineffective infrastructure and their system of education.
Besides the government will need to look into the diffusion of innovation throughout Mexico and support their technology base by, for example, funding research and the training of engineers and scientists.
