Ron Roenicke to be Red Sox's interim manager
It was a very strange off season for the Boston Red Sox.
Payroll constraints meant they had to adopt an austerity plan that ended with the trading of former MVP Mookie Betts along with David Price to the Dodgers.
There was the "mutually" parting of ways with Manager Alex Cora who was named as a person who was involved with the Houston Astros electronic sign stealing.
Major League Baseball is now investigating the Red Sox on allegations they staged their own cheating scale by leaving a replay door unlocked during the 2018 World Series winning season, a move that had signs relayed to hitters.
Today, the team announced that Ron Roenicke will take over as majer of the team in an interim basis.
